Every product starts as a sketch, usually after a retailer tells us what keeps coming back.
Factories we have walked
A short list of partners we visit in person. Nothing moves until we have seen the line.
Inspected before it sails
Seams pulled, posts tipped, bags filled. A container does not leave on a promise.
Stocked here, shipped fast
Order two cases or twenty. It ships from our warehouse, not from a port six weeks out.
What it means to make pet supplies
A pet cannot read a label, complain, or return anything. Everything we do follows from that.
The animal is the customer
The person pays, but the dog decides. We test on the animal before we test the price.
Safe is not a feature
No loose eyes, no toxic dye, no fill a dog can pull out in one go. We pay for testing whether or not anyone asks.
Independents first
Case packs, margins and minimums are set for the shop with one location, not for a big box.
Say what is true
If a toy is not indestructible, the tag does not say indestructible. Buyers remember an honest spec.
The people who answer the phone
A small team, on purpose. A buyer can reach the person who designed the thing they are asking about.
Joined in 2006 as a Northeast sales rep. Still walks every trade show floor.
Fifteen years in soft goods. Owns the sketch, the sample and the call to kill it.
Runs the factory list and the inspection schedule. On a plane one week a month.
Started behind the counter of a pet store in Queens. Knows what moves off a peg.
Runs the warehouse and the order desk. A Tuesday order ships Tuesday night.
